Rasoyo is a cuisine-vertical catering marketplace built by The Imaginations, Surat. Mission: make Indian event catering transparent, authentic, and insured.
Rasoyo was founded in 2026 by Arpit Thakar, Founder-CEO of The Imaginations, a Surat-based venture studio building consumer and enterprise products across legal tech, food, political intelligence, and marketplace categories.
The insight was painful and obvious: every Indian family spends lakhs on event catering — and yet does so on a cousin's recommendation, a WhatsApp menu, and a handshake. There is no cuisine-verification, no price transparency, no food-safety insurance, and no dispute resolution. A category that does ₹2.5 lakh crore a year in India runs on trust that cannot scale.
Make Indian event catering authentic, transparent, and insured — by cuisine, not by geography. Every Gujarati caterer on Rasoyo is actually a Gujarati caterer, audited by Gujarati master chefs. Same for Marwari and Punjabi. And the same discipline will extend to every cuisine we add next.
Rasoyo is part of The Imaginations — a venture studio ecosystem including Vakalat.com (legal tech), Legured (legal security scoring), ZeroFIR (FIR drafting), Samjota (online arbitration), Punjab Da Dhaba (QSR), and others. Rasoyo benefits from shared infrastructure across trust, legal, compliance, and consumer trust layers.
