₹1 Crore coverage on every event

Every Rasoyo booking is backed by a ₹1 crore public liability and food-safety insurance policy at no additional cost to the customer. The cover is underwritten by a licensed Indian general insurer and activated automatically when a booking is confirmed.

What's covered

• Food poisoning and allergic reactions — hospitalization costs, medical treatment, consequential losses up to the cover limit
• Property damage caused by caterer or crew negligence at the event venue
• Public liability — third-party injury or damage claims at the event
• Cold-chain failure consequences for events above 300 pax

What's not covered

• Pre-existing medical conditions of guests
• Intentional harm or criminal acts
• Guest-brought outside food consumed at the event
• Acts of war, terrorism, nuclear events (standard exclusions)
• Events above ₹25 lakh catering value without additional rider (available on request)

How to claim

Notify Rasoyo within 24 hours of incident at insurance@rasoyo.com. Claims are processed within 14 working days of receipt of complete documentation. Rasoyo Event Manager assists with documentation and hospital coordination where relevant.
